Obligatory "I've changed my server" post

I'm going to be temporarily moving out of my house while it's being worked on so I decided to make some changes. I've moved my website off of my linux server onto a real hosting company. I was very surprised at how cheap it was, with the IRONGEEKCODE promo code I only paid $103 for two years of service, and more than enough service than I really need. That's only like $4/month, less than half of what I pay in just electricity to run my linux server. I can't believe I didn't do this sooner. Another benefit is that downloads will be a lot faster since my uplink speed always sucked.

While I'm already talking about these changes, I also moved to the Vonage VoIP service which so far has been amazingly easy. Hopefully everything with my number change will go fine. I did it mainly because of the move and wanting to keep my phone number but I get the added benefit that it's a lot cheaper. I paid about $75/month for telephone and long distance, now I'm going to pay about $15-$20.
